Do you want to see your favorite teacher get a pie in the face? Now through January 29th, purchase tickets for $1 each and place those tickets in the teacher's box in the school lobby! The teacher with the most tickets will be announced on February 1st and the "winner" will be pied on Friday, February 5th!

Siblings Annabel (1st grade) and Louis (PreK3) Collins, together with their parents Dane and Kerri, organized their neighbors to collect toy donations for the St. James Alumni Association's annual toy and clothing drive. The Collins family's efforts embody the call to serve others we have as a community of faith. Great job, Annie and Louie!

On December 8, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. 

SJR is so proud to share the news that 5th grade student John Cunnane has won the Drug-Free Calendar Contest sponsored by State Attorney General Josh Shapiro's office. The contest has been run annually for the past 24 years. Art teacher Mrs. Small reports that John is the first St. James student to ever win this state-wide competition! As a result, he will be awarded $529 towards his 529 College Savings plan, and his winning art entry will be featured in the 2021 Drug-Free Calendar which is to be distributed throughout the state. Way to go John!

Please help us spread the word about our first Virtual Open House! The program is scheduled for December 2nd from 6:30-7:30 pm. The program is geared to prospective families interested in enrolling their student in St. James Regional! Wear your favorite SJR spirit wear on November 24th and help the Student Council raise money to purchase toys for St. James High Alumni Association's annual toy drive! Cost of is $1 and payments can be sent with your student or made online!

We are excited to announce that we are participating in #iGiveCatholic on #GivingTuesday, December 1, 2020! #iGiveCatholic is a Giving Day for the faithful across the nation (and the globe!) to come together and raise as many charitable dollars as possible for Catholic organizations- including St. James Regional! Honor our veterans and help support our healthcare workers who are working tirelessly to care for those during the Covid-19 pandemic! Wear red, white, and blue on November 11th. Cost is $1.

This week, the Catholic Church in the United States spends time promoting vocations to the priesthood and religious life.   Every person has a vocation; a calling in life to be the person God has intended you to be. Our callings are as unique as our fingerprints. Discovering your vocation, a process called discernment, takes careful consideration, quiet contemplation, prayer and dedication.  It also takes courage to say “yes” to God’s call.

Home & School is kicking off the Christmas season with its annual Wreath Making Night! This year will look a little different, but promises to be full of Christmas spirit. Place your order between November 9th-25th, pick up all your wreath-making supplies on December 3rd, and be sure to post your finished product on St. James Regional's social media pages!

Our campus store has been closed to in-person sales due to Covid protocols, but we are heading outside for a pop-up sidewalk sale on November 13th from 3:00- 4:30 pm in the school parking lot! Come get your St. James Regional spirit wear. We will have hoodies, tees, accessories, and more!
